Spring is in the Air

I love dressing in preppy colors and patterns. Plaid, herringbone, houndstooth and fair isle are a major portion of my wardrobe, but today I opted for a classy mix of neutrals.

Equestrienne

After being snowed in for a couple of days, we decided we needed to get out of town and took a weekend trip to Rhinebeck, NY. As you can see I was in an equestrian outfit mood. I love wearing equestrian touches even when I am not on a horse.

Winter Wonderland

I just had to say something about mild weather, and here it is, a foot of snow. Better now than in April. Winter apparel back out of the pits of my closet!

Will You Be My Valentine?

I was rummaging through my closet, looking for outfit ideas for our Valentine's Day date. I don't usually go for the somewhat cliche red dress, but I came across this dress I bought a while back that I haven't had a chance to wear yet. As soon as I put it on with my new Banana Republic necklace, I decided this will be it. What do think?

Another Sunny Afternoon

The weather has been very mild for February. I am not complaining. As much as I love a snow covered landscape, by mid-February I am usually ready for spring to arrive. I know, warmth is still weeks if not months away, but these last couple of mild weekends allowed me to shed the wool coats and heavy layers and I am grateful for that. Here I am wearing my favorite camel hair blazer. I just love how camel goes with everything!
